History of Castelldans<\/h2>\n\n

Castelldans has a rich history dating back to medieval times. The town’s name comes from the castle that once dominated the area, “Castell d’Ans”, built as a fortress to protect the area from invaders. Although the castle no longer exists, its ruins can still be visited. These ruins offer a fascinating glimpse into the past. In addition, the path enabled to climb the ruins allows you to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view. You can appreciate the beauty of the rural landscape of Les Garrigues.<\/p>\n\n
